CrossFit Open

Our CrossFit methodology is organized around the principle that being fit means being prepared for a competition. Therefore, if you are participating in our CrossFit training program, the CrossFit Open should be the apex of your training. In short, a CrossFit trainee strives to develop capacity in ALL of these general physical skills: Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, Accuracy, AND Cardiovascular Endurance. This is accomplished by avoiding specialization and embracing generalization. What better way to evaluate your training than to put it to the test?!

On Thursday at 5pm for the next 5 weeks, Dave Castro will be announcing the CrossFit Open WODs at These workouts are designed to determine the top CrossFit athletes that will move on to compete at the 2017 CrossFit Regional’s. That does not mean only the elite should apply, each workout offers a scaled option as well.

We will be performing the the Open Workouts on Saturday, 9, 10 and 11am. You may also come in during open gym on Sunday to perform the WOD.
